'GYRE' is a visualization model for a spatial experience based on an excerpt from ‘Alice in Wonderland’ by Lewis Carol in any space at NID.
CONCEPT NOTE
The space is Alice's emotions and the viewer is experiencing the conversation. There is a flow from curiosity to confusion, from contradiction experienced through changes in the scale of the surrounding. The space, ie the conversation is in a kind of loop where the viewer keeps coming back to the beginning of the conversation and leaves, somewhat confused.
The concept is translated into space through repetitive experiences in different rooms that intrigues but also confuses the audience due to the repetition and change in scale of the rooms.
